Gatwick Airport’s Shuttle service reopens in Sussex

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Transferring between North and South terminals at Gatwick couldn’t be easier. The newly re-opened shuttle service operates 24 hours a day between North and South Gatwick Airport terminals and takes just two minutes.

The mainline train station is in the South Terminal of Gatwick Airport (LGW). Simply follow signs for North Terminal when you arrive at South Terminal Gatwick.  Alternatively, if you’ve arrived at North Terminal and are travelling onwards by train, just follow signs to South Terminal.

The renewed shuttle service at Gatwick airport in West Sussex has been completed ahead of schedule. The £ 45m upgraded service will speed up the time it takes passengers to travel between the north and south terminals.  Passengers were using bus service when the work started in September 2009.  New trains were place in February to replace the entire old terminal system which was installed at the airport in 1987.
